Welcome to Cedar Creek Estate, perched on top of Mount Tamborine. Our vineyard location has two beautiful locations for the perfect wedding ceremony at Mount Tamborine, Gold Coast.
The Estate has a charming non-denominational sandstone chapel, set overlooking the vineyard and tree-lined lake. For couples that prefer an outdoor garden wedding, we also have a gorgeous garden arbor that overlooks the lake.

Cedar Creek Estate has two beautiful venues for the perfect wedding ceremony at Mount Tamborine.
Wedding Chapel
The Cedar Creek Estate Wedding Chapel is non-denominational and provides the perfect setting for your wedding ceremony. The chapel is located adjacent to a lake in the beautiful grounds of the Cedar Creek Estate.
Garden Ceremony
Choose a location in the beautiful grounds surrounding the chapel or our garden arbour. White Americana chairs, signing table provided and carpet if required.
Cedar Room Reception Venue
After exchanging vows, treat your guests (up to 100) to a fabulous reception in our Cedar Room, a relaxing winery themed reception venue. With its warm wood tones and welcoming terrace area overlooking the vineyard, provides the perfect space for your own personal touches.
Naming Ceremony
Our chapel is available for hire for christening ceremonies seven days a week.

Yes. Most couples choose to host their full wedding day onsite, with the option of a romantic indoor chapel ceremony or an outdoor garden ceremony, followed by a reception in The Cedar Room. This ensures a seamless experience for you and your guests, with no travelling between locations.
What ceremony spaces are available?
You can choose between the Wedding Chapel, a beautiful non-denominational chapel overlooking the lake, or a Garden Ceremony set amongst the estate gardens and arbour. Both options suit up to 100 guests and include one hour of rehearsal time, a signing table, white Americana chairs and optional carpet.
How many guests can you accommodate?
Cedar Creek Estate caters for weddings of all sizes, from intimate gatherings to larger celebrations of up to 100 guests.
- The Cedar Room (reception): up to 100 guests

Our Terrace package is idea for smaller weddings, catering for up to 20 guests.

Do you offer budget-friendly wedding packages?
Yes. We provide several package options and add-ons so couples can create a Mount Tamborine wedding package that suits their budget and guest numbers. Smaller weddings can take advantage of The Terrace Package, while larger celebrations often choose Cedar Premium or The Winery Package.
Are there different prices for peak and off-peak months?
Yes. Peak months on Tamborine Mountain are April, May, September, October and November. These months have higher minimum guest numbers (65 adults), so we encourage couples to book early.
How early should we book our wedding?
Tamborine Mountain weddings are extremely popular year-round, so we recommend booking as early as possible. Weekend dates and peak season fill well in advance.
Do you provide food and beverages?
Yes. All catering is provided by Cedar Creek Estate. Menu options depend on your package and may include 2-course or 3-course meals, as well as platters served during photo time.
Beverage packages are included and provide premium or standard selections for 3–5 hours. A premium beer tab is included in the Cedar Premium package.
Can you accommodate dietary requirements?
Yes. We can cater for individual dietary requirements such as gluten-free, vegan or halal-friendly options.
Is there a wet-weather backup option?
Yes. The stunning indoor Wedding Chapel provides a secure all-weather ceremony location, ensuring your day runs smoothly regardless of conditions.
Do you have a reception end time or noise curfew?
Reception end times depend on your selected package. Most evening receptions finish at 10pm, with the option to extend to 11pm if available. Afternoon Terrace Package receptions finish at 4pm.
Is there an on-the-day wedding coordinator?
Yes. All packages include a professional wedding coordinator who assists with planning, ensures your ceremony and reception run smoothly and acts as your key contact on the day.
Can we bring our own vendors?
You’re welcome to hire external vendors for services not included in your package, such as photography, videography, makeup artists, car hire and entertainment. We can also recommend trusted local suppliers.
Is there parking onsite?
Yes. Cedar Creek Estate provides onsite parking for guests attending weddings and events.
Do you have accommodation onsite?
There is no onsite accommodation, but there are many excellent boutique stays, cottages and hotels nearby on Tamborine Mountain. Our team can recommend options for couples and guests.
Is Cedar Creek Estate close to the Gold Coast and Brisbane?
Yes. We are located in North Tamborine, approximately 40 minutes from the Gold Coast and one hour from Brisbane, making us a convenient Gold Coast Hinterland wedding venue for couples with guests travelling from either direction.
What photo locations are available onsite?
The estate offers a variety of stunning photography locations, including:
