MERLOT (Ballandean Estate)2018 Rich fruity flavours with a smooth lingering finish. 13% Food suggest - It partners very well with most foods and goes particularly well with poultry, red meats, pork, salads and grilled steak as well as tomato-based pasta sauces and shellfish like prawns and scallops. You should avoid serving merlot with spicy foods
CHERRY RED (Merlot and Chambourcin) 2017
Made from our locally grown Chambourcin. Cherry and spice aromas with a savoury finish 12.8% Food Suggest – Any BBQ meat dish, antipasto and brie, camembert, cheddar, and swiss cheese.
“Claret Ash” Cabernet Merlot (2019)
This 85%/15% blend is named after the beautiful Claret Ash trees grown around the vineyard. Soft young berry fruits with a lingering aftertaste. 14.4% Food suggest - Mildly spiced Asian dishes, however, can go very well with the blend. 2. The richness of fatty meats like beef and lamb goes beautifully with the tannins. The combination of the two results in the Cabernet Merlot providing a smoother mouthfeel.
SYRAH (SHIRAZ) (2019)
Subtle middle, blueberry with a hint of spice finish. 14.8% Food suggest - beef, casseroles and spicier ethnic foods like Indian and Mexican cuisine and meaty pizzas. It also goes well with red meat game dishes like kangaroo.
REVELATION RED (our signature wine)
Estate-grown Chambourcin. Touch of sweetness, soft and full flavoured. Great served chilled. 10% Food suggest- Sticky pork ribs, anything with a spice of heat, including pepperoni pizza!
